The 42nd annual conference of the European Cystic Fibrosis Society convenes delegates interested in issues related to cystic fibrosis to look at the disease and care from a holistic perspective. It addresses various issues surrounding the disease, including new technologies, psychosocial care, nutrition, exercise, among many others. It will include scientific symposia, interactive workshops, meet the expert sessions and keynote/plenary sessions including individual lectures held by professional speakers. Scientific sessions, meet the expert, and workshops will be held parallel to one another. Plenary sessions shall stand alone.

ECFS participants comprise healthcare professionals, PhD and postdoctoral students, professors, researchers, and others with expertise and interest in the science, management and prevention of cystic fibrosis in both academic and practical settings worldwide.  Their fields of expertise include genetics, cell biology, new therapies, microbiology, immunology, pulmonology, physiotherapy, endocrinology, nutrition, nursing, screening, diagnosis, and psychosocial issues, among others.
