XXVIII Curso Internacional de Epidemiología y Control de la Tuberculosis
The purpose of this International Course on Epidemiology and Tuberculosis Control is to reason and review in depth the bases of the epidemiology and control of tuberculosis, within the context of a National Tuberculosis Program. The course also includes updated reviews of the theoretical bases that support the recommendations of the National Tuberculosis Programs (PNT) and the International Organizations. All the exhibitions are carried out with a very open character, motivating and encouraging active discussion with the participants. It also includes all the practical aspects about the implementation and execution of a tuberculosis program. These are taught not only through theoretical expositions, but also through practical field experiences, both in the microbiology laboratory and in the health centers where the NTP is applied.
The course is aimed for doctors who are health professionals involved in tuberculosis control who work in the National Tuberculosis Program of their respective countries. All participants are coming from international country and especially in Latin America and the Caribbean
