The 11th International Symposium on Pneumococci and Pneumococcal Diseases (ISPPD) is a global scientific meeting focusing on the exchange, advancement and dissemination of the latest discoveries on the basic science, microbiology, epidemiology, treatment and prevention of pneumococci and pneumococcal disease. The engaging scientific program will highlight the areas of substantial recent progress in pneumococcal disease. Plenary sessions will take a cross-disciplinary approach to major areas in the field and parallel sessions will focus on specific topic areas covering clinical aspects, immunology, microbiology and epidemiology.
