The purpose of this webinar is to share and discuss the clinical and pathological features of mild asthma and suggest useful attitudes for a better management of the patient.
The virtual school on lung transplantation will provide state-of-the-art knowledge on a wide array of issues regarding lung transplantation. It will include innovative and interactive sessions such as pro/con debates or the study of cases from participants. Through its basic and advanced-level programmes, the virtual school is aimed at catering to the educational needs of participants with a basic and advanced understanding of the subject.
The main objective of the seminar is to review the current understanding of lung function growth and decline in healthy populations and those with disease, among both children and adults. The aim is to evaluate factors that account for variation in absolute and normalised data, and in trajectories and trends over time. Finally, the organisers also aim to revise key and controversial concepts, as early COPD and asthma / COPD overlap that are linked to the different vital lung function trajectories.
To provide up-to-date information on the daily practice of pulmonologists, respiratory scientists and allied health professionals, in order to improve their knowledge-base, and, ultimately, to improve the overall quality of patient care. The information disseminated during the webinar should introduce the basic concepts and established techniques rather than scientific work in progress.
The aims of the session are to identify prognostic markers in order to predict disease clinical course and guide treatment of connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung diseases (CTD-ILD). The audience will gain knowledge on the diagnostic/prognostic challenges and novel therapeutic advances in CTD-ILD.

On day one of the Summit, we will examine the current digital tools that can be used in respiratory healthcare, while day two will focus on growth areas and future aspects of digital health, such as big data and artificial intelligence as well as ethical considerations, regulation, and policy.
The ERS Office worked with ERS Assembly for Respiratory Infections to identify the educational needs for the ongoing multiannual period.

The virtual masterclass will provide an overview on treatments and standard methods in evaluating the physiology and biology of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
