The aim of the conference is to expand the knowledge of current concepts of bronchoobturative diseases for specialists and researchers in pulmonary medicine in Ukraine.
This day-long event will include 8 different presentations. At the end of each presentation, there will be time for interaction, questions and discussion between speakers and the audience. All of the speakers are experts in Cystic Fibrosis and the aim is to give participants a wider understanding of the various aspects of cystic fibrosis.
The course NSiPD is a part of ESPEN educational project aiming to improve the knowledge about Clinical Nutrition and enhancing the quality of the nutritional support given to the patients. It is organized in 4 modules/lectures each addressing different aspects of the topic, the consequent discussion of 2 clinical cases and completion the test.
The ERS International Congress is the once-a-year occasion during which world’s respiratory professionals and experts meet in a European city to exchange views and share knowledge. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s ERS Congress will be delivered in a virtual format.
The purpose of ERS HERMES Examination is to assess the knowledge of candidates in respiratory medicine. As this is a summative assessment, the purpose is to distinguish successful candidates, who prove that their knowledge is up-to-date and matches European standards in respiratory medicine.
Case based discussion: what, why and how How to write multiple choice questions : The aim of this learning module is to train qualified doctors and other medical specialists to write valid, hiqh-quality multiple choice questions (MCQs).
The virtual academy of paediatric respiratory medicine is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of each of the major fields of paediatric respiratory medicine based on the HERMES syllabus. This academy is aimed at all paediatric respiratory professionals wishing to update their knowledge, particularly those preparing for the European examination in paediatric respiratory medicine.
To provide up-to-date information on the daily practice of pulmonologists, respiratory scientists and allied health professionals, in order to improve their knowledge-base, and, ultimately, to improve the overall quality of patient care. The information disseminated during the webinar should introduce the basic concepts and established techniques rather than scientific work in progress.
The key objective of this set of modules is to provide participants with different opinions regarding key issues in the field of respiratory medicine. Discussions between recognised experts will be recorded and made available in video format for the participants.
After the first successful edition, realized in Vienna 2019 the 2nd European NTM & Bronchiectasis Workshop will give the opportunity to go deeper in the discussion and analysis of the different diagnostic techniques, the role of new drugs and the optimal management of these two important diseases providing a common evidence-based knowledge background to be developed further by participants in their daily practice.

Accepted and presented during the ERS Congress abstracts will be published in a supplement of the online version of the European Respiratory Journal Authors of highly clinically relevant cases accepted and presented during the ERS Congress will be invited to submit their case to Breathe journal for publication.
The objectives of this research seminar are to redefine severe exacerbations of COPD, review upcoming biomarkers and identify key interventional needs. This seminar aims to highlight severe exacerbations as distinct events, with important differences to mild and moderate exacerbations. The research seminar will allow inclusion and understanding of CICERO, an ERS Clinical Research Collaboration, and provide opportunity for participants to become part of the CATALINA study, an upcoming pan-European observational study.
Pneumo Update Europe 2021 is a congress where physicians will receive a complete update in Pneumology within 2 days. The most relevant clinical papers of the last year are reviewed. and put into perspective.
