This ERS course organised in collaboration with the European Society of Paediatric Radiology (ESPR), will improve current standards of paediatric chest imaging with the aim of improving care for children with respiratory disorders. Close collaboration between paediatric pulmonologists and paediatric radiologists is needed to optimise: order management, imaging protocols for common paediatric lung diseases (i.e. pneumonia), dose reduction options for chest CT protocols, and implementation of chest MRI for specific clinical indications.
