European Workshop on Bronchiectasis and Chronic Cough in Children and Adolescents brings together leading global experts to explore the mechanisms, diagnosis, and management of bronchiectasis and chronic wet cough in paediatric and adolescent populations. The workshop highlights emerging clinical trials, immunology and infections, physiotherapy and airway clearance strategies, nutrition, and real-world patient and multidisciplinary experiences.

To provide up-to-date information on the daily practice of pulmonologists, respiratory scientists and allied health professionals, in order to improve their knowledge-base, and, ultimately, to improve the overall quality of patient care. The information disseminated during the webinar should introduce the basic concepts and established techniques rather than scientific work in progress.

This course aims to improve the early and accurate diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary nodules by training pulmonologists in advanced image-guided navigation and biopsy techniques. Using advanced imaging-based technologies, clinicians can enhance navigation, perform safer biopsies, and potentially enable future local treatments, ultimately improving diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and comfort. The course is specifically tailored for pulmonologists with advanced endoscopic expertise, who are proficient in basic bronchoscopy and have experience with cancer diagnostic procedures and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS).

This course provides a comprehensive overview of granuloma formation as a non-specific immune response that can affect individuals of any age and gender. Participants will explore the genetic predispositions, infectious triggers, environmental factors, autoimmune conditions, and malignancies linked to granuloma development. Beyond disease-specific contexts, this course will present a cross-disciplinary perspective on the causes, diagnostic approaches, and therapeutic strategies for granulomatous diseases. By bridging basic science and clinical practice, the course fosters collaboration between researchers, clinicians, and patients to advance understanding and care.

The XIII International Workshop on Lung Health is an international meeting devoted to the last updates in Respiratory Medicine. The workshop will also cover, as per tradition, a wide range of topics in the field of respiratory medicine, such as respiratory infections, asthma, COPD and related pathologies. Following the request of participants, it will include key insights and updates on rare respiratory diseases like ILD, IPF, RSV, LAM, EGPA, Bronchiectasis and NTM. This course will provide a comprehensive overview on the different eosinophilic lung diseases (ELDs). Participants will gain a fundamental understanding of eosinophil biology in health and disease, and updates to the management of ELDs.

Imaging is a vital tool in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary diseases. Techniques such as X-ray, computed tomography (CT), MRI, and ultrasound are used routinely in clinical practice. Today, clinicians are often the first to encounter these images, making it essential to develop a solid foundation in image interpretation. This course is designed to equip clinicians with the skills to assess thoracic imaging and recognise key abnormalities in the lungs, mediastinum, and pleura.

The Pulmonary Hypertension Masterclass will be focused on the early detection, diagnostic strategy (including ECHO and right heart catheterisation practical demonstration, and right heart catheterisation simulation) and therapy in patients with pulmonary hypertension. This course explores the distinct endotypes of severe asthma, focusing on underlying mechanisms, diagnostic tools, and treatment strategies. The ERS Cough Conference 2026 represents the continuation of the biennial London International Cough Symposium. It will gather clinicians and scientists for a review of the latest clinical and research advances, evolving ideas and new approaches to the management of chronic cough. There will be a review of: the diseases associated with chronic cough; advances in understanding of different types of cough; underlying pathophysiological mechanisms; the management of chronic hypersensitive cough. The conference will consist of: state-of-the-art lectures with oral presentations based on abstract submissions; round table discussions.

The ERS Lung Science Conference (LSC) is a showcase for cutting-edge research and its translation into clinical solutions. Its originality and success are based on facilitating dialogue between young scientists and established investigators. The programme is made of presentations by experts, oral presentation based on abstracts and poster sessions. After each presentation, time is allocated to questions and discussion. Specifically, the Lung Science Conference 2026 is intended to present the latest advances in basic and translational research in the field of lung diseases. Special features for early-career delegates will also be organised, such as a session entitled “How to make yourself visible in the field of respiratory medicine?” and the usual LSC mentorship programme.
