The International Meeting on Pulmonary Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs is the only European event dedicated to different types of rare pulmonary diseases affecting both parenchymal and vascular structures. Inter-specialization and transversality are the fundamental frameworks in which this meeting has been designed, by ranging from vasculitis to pulmonary fibrosis, diseases of connective tissue, and pulmonary hypertension.

This three-part programme aims to teach qualified doctors to independently and competently perform EBUS. Part one of the programme covers the theoretical knowledge that is required for EBUS, part two focuses on clinical and simulation training, and part three provides supervised training.

The workshop reviews content of newly authored Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for use in future examinations, including guidance on correct MCQ formatting, group discussions and standard setting for assessments. Participants contribute new MCQs prior to the event, after followings MCQs writing training protocols and guidelines.

When considering the respiratory environment and particularly the lower respiratory tract, nebulisation has emerged as one of the most useful routes of administration to treat pulmonary disease, owed to its direct lung delivery and its ease in use by both the young and the elderly. This course will provide useful information on the current state-of-the-art use for nebulisation in the pulmonary field.

4th European Bronchiectasis Workshop – Pre-Conference Course for Junior Professionals is a clinical research in bronchiectasis course that is open to young researchers and clinicians below the age of 42 with a specific interest in understanding how to become investigators in this field.

The 4th European Bronchiectasis Workshop serves as a premier gathering for sharing and discussing the most recent findings related to the diagnosis and management of Bronchiectasis. Besides the goals of updating and educating the scientific community, aggregating the European Bronchiectasis experts in Paris in 2025 may have a great value to strongly advocate for the recognition of the disease in France and in other European countries where it is still neglected.

This European Respiratory Society (ERS) / European Reference Network (ERN-LUNG) collaborative course will present the latest understanding and advice on the management of rare lung diseases. Due to the small number of people affected with rare lung diseases, diagnosis can be difficult and treatment options are limited. This online course will provide an overview on how to diagnose and treat rare lung diseases, including interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, rare obstructive lung diseases and rare thoracic cancers.

Physicians learn mostly from the cases they have seen in clinical practice and discussed with their colleagues. The authors of the case learning section therefore believe that learning with cases is the best way to master medicine. The cases are presented in an interactive way from symptom to diagnosis including self-evaluation of the participants` knowledge. At the end of each section, references for further reading are displayed.

PVRI 2025 is a three-day conference with panel discussions and poster presentations on all aspects of pulmonary vascular disease. The theme of the meeting is “Embracing Heterogeneity”, and it will explore heterogeneity in disease presentation, heterogeneity in disease pathobiology, and how this heterogeneity may be leveraged to improve outcomes in human clinical trials.

To provide up-to-date information on the daily practice of pulmonologists, respiratory scientists and allied health professionals, in order to improve their knowledgebase, and, ultimately, to improve the overall quality of patient care. The information disseminated during the webinar should introduce the basic concepts and established techniques rather than scientific work in progress.

The XII International Workshop on Lung Health is an international meeting devoted to the last updates in Respiratory Medicine. The workshop will also cover, as per tradition, a wide range of topics in the field of respiratory medicine, such as respiratory infections, asthma, COPD and related pathologies. Following the request of participants, it will include key insights and updates on rare respiratory diseases like ILD, IPF, RSV, LAM, EGPA, Bronchiectasis and NTM.

In this course, the attendees will learn the basis of the peer-review process in a specialised respiratory journal, specifically, how manuscript submissions are being processed, assessed, and eventually accepted.
